Alarms

If installed and maintained correctly, fire alarms can mean the difference between life and death. The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015 requires rental properties to have an appropriately maintained smoke alarm on each storey of the property. Meanwhile, in ever-evolving settings like construction sites, or perhaps in factories where there’s lots of noise, the responsible person must ensure staff know how to raise the alarm and that the alarm can be heard. A properly maintained fire alarm is crucial, whatever its application.
