Fluorine Free Foam Fire Extinguishers

For years now, the AFF Foam has been the go to fire extinguisher for many Class B fire risks.  The downside with most AFF Foams is that they contain Chemicals that are harmful to the environment, wildlife and humans.

For this reason, since 2020, the industry has been gradually moving away from many of these chemicals to ‘Fluorine-Free’ alternatives.  In July 2025, a ban was introduced on many Chemicals found in AFF Foam and this has further accelerated manufacturers move towards eco friendly alternatives.
